Bluetooth Access Point for Digital Pen applications |
Another interesting new application with Bluetooth technology is the Digital Pen. The Digital Pen works with digital paper, writing just as your customers would with normal pens. Your customer can simply write in their own handwriting on the digital paper. The MSP1000 Bluetooth Access Point will transmit the images from the pen right on to your customer’s computer. These pens may prove very handy for artists who would like to preserve some of the ideas they have without having to mess with a copier and scanner.
The Digital Pen will also be useful for signature pages, your customer will not have to print and sign anymore, and they can sign the digital paper and upload to computer with a touch of a button. SENA's Bluetooth Access Point products can be used in a wide range of Digital Pen applications.
For example, multiple Digital Pens could connect to a Parani-MSP1000 (SENA product) Bluetooth Access Point link at which data from all digital pens can be transmitted to a host server PC, simultaneously. Furthermore, Parani-MSP1000 Bluetooth Access Point can transmit the Digital Pen data to the multiple hosts. This feature is very useful where multiple management stations want to collect Digital Pen data from the same data acquisition system as if they may share it.
For detailed information, please review the following scenarios.

There is no requirement for a cable connection. This allows the Digital Pen can be carried around freely like regular pens. This Bluetooth based system is optimum for services using multiple pens at the same time such as educational institutions, questionnaire in event venues and customer service counters.
